Performing Medicine

Kiss My Echo by The Clod Ensemble, 2001.

“I have always felt that I don’t have ‘presence’ in the same way that doctors do. I’ve never realised it was something you can learn, that one session has helped a great deal.”

We programme workshops, events and seminars across three of London's most prestigious medical schools (Barts and The London, Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, King's College and Imperial College).

Performing Medicine accesses the medical curriculum in several ways - offering an intensive Selective Study Module called The Art of Medicine and Healthcare, as well as designing arts workshops to be integrated into existing clinically based selected study modules (e.g. Anatomy, Dentistry or Palliative Care) and the core curriculum.

We also offer courses to practising health professionals. Most recently running a series of Expressive Body workshops at Guy's and St. Thomas Hospital.
