the performing medicine season 2011

A series of conversations, performances and workshops inspired by the theme of anatomy featuring brilliant artists, anatomists, medics and thinkers. The Season took place across London in venues including Sadler’s Wells, Wellcome Collection and Whitechapel Gallery.

This season of events bought together artists, ethicists, medics, health carers and cultural thinkers to examine the way theatre and the arts may illuminate contemporary medical practice and vice versa.
