The Performing Medicine project provides training to medical students and healthcare practitioners using the performing and visual arts (at undergraduate, postgraduate and a professional development level).
We also programme performances and discussions which aim to engage the general public in debates at the heart of contemporary medical practice.
We offer artist led, practical based programmes delivered by a wide range of artists and thinkers working in a range of art forms from theatre to dance to photography.
The Performing Medicine Season
In Autumn 2008 we are programming a series of events for
the general public in collaboration with Tate Modern, The Science Museum’s Dana Centre and Wellcome Collection.
