extra curricular open programme From September 2008 | Free One-to-One presentation skills sessions designed to help medical students feel more at ease with patients and colleagues. Do you feel embarrassed, nervous or even terrified at the prospect of interacting with patients? Are you worried that you might blush and mumble in a consultation or insult patients or colleagues by accident? These one-to-one 45 minute sessions are intended to help students with the way they communicate - whether by showing them how to use their voice clearly and effectively, improving body language, or providing helpful tips on giving presentations. Each session is adapted to the needs of the individual. Sessions are free to undergraduate medical students at Barts and The London, Kings College, London and Imperial College London.
